President
Sidney signed up to volunteer with Westside's PTSO in the very beginning of the 22/23 school year and was soon recruited to be the rising President. She currently has two warriors at Westside. Her eldest is an incoming 4th grader, and her youngest is entering Kindergarten, so she plans on being at Westside for at least a few more years to come. She's a Disney cast member and theme park fanatic. She also welcomes anyone who would like to participate (and volunteer) in events with open arms.
Vice-President
We are looking for people to sit on the PTSO board. If you are interested, please come to the first SAC/PTSO meeting on August 24th, 2023 at 5:30pm. The vice-president will assist the President in organizing events and meetings in the event that the President cannot make it. They are responsible for helping to maintain the PTSO closet, get information out to the staff/guardians, and keep things running like a well-oiled machine.
Secretary
We are looking for people to sit on the PTSO board. If you are interested, please come to the first SAC/PTSO meeting on August 24th, 2023 at 5:30pm. The secretary is responsible for keeping detailed notes during every held PTSO meeting, making sure all information flyers for events are sent out, and updating the monthly newsletter on the website.
Volunteer Coordinator
We are looking for people to sit on the PTSO board. If you are interested, please come to the first SAC/PTSO meeting on August 24th, 2023 at 5:30pm. The volunteer coordinator is responsible for organizing all volunteers for events. They must keep an accurate record of everyone who is volunteering, how many hours they have put in, and if they are OASIS approved in necessary circumstances.
Social Media Specialist
We are looking for people to sit on the PTSO board. If you are interested, please come to the first SAC/PTSO meeting on August 24th, 2023 at 5:30pm. The social media specialist is responsible for making sure all of our social media content is current and up to date. They will also be at the events taking pictures, video and just general content for our Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok accounts.
Language Specialist - Spanish
We are looking for people to sit on the PTSO board. If you are interested, please come to the first SAC/PTSO meeting on August 24th, 2023 at 5:30pm. This position can be tied to any of the other board positions or can stand on its own. To be in this position, you must be fluent in both English and Spanish to be able to help translate any media or questions. You do not have to participate in any events (although we would like it if you did) but you should plan to come to at least a few meetings to help translate.
